2010 MARKHAM FAIR AMBASSADOR CONTEST

The 2010 Ambassador Contest will be held on Saturday September 18, 2010, 5:30 pm at the Markham Fair Grounds. The Ambassador Contest will take place during a Family Barbeque. Roast beef dinner, corn and beans. Fun for everyone; pony rides, hay wagon rides, children's pedal tractor trials, miniature horses and wagon, DJ. Licensed event. Adults $15 (or 2 for $25), 12 & under $5. Tickets available at the Fair Office and from Candlelight and Memories - Stouffville. Advance sale only for the tickets. (tickets will not be sold at the door)

The Ambassador Contest is held 2 weeks before the fair. The winning members of the Ambassador Team will represent Markham Fair for the 2010 season (September 18th 2010 to September 17th 2011) The Markham Fair Ambassador Team consists of a Leader and two Assistants. Their roles and responsibilities will vary throughout the Fair time and also at several functions during the year.

How would you like an opportunity to serve your
community, win great prizes and have lots of fun?
As the Markham Fair Ambassador, you will represent the Markham Fair during the four days of the Markham Fair and at community events throughout the year. You will also enjoy a two-night stay at the Royal York Hotel while meeting other Ambassadors across the Province.
