The New Markham Fair Raffle – a tremendous fundraising opportunity for community groups!
Chevrolet Sonic LS 5 Door - Grand Prize Raffle at Markham Fair
This year at Markham Fair, patrons took advantage of the “early bird” period and purchased the New Markham Fair Raffle tickets at the early bird rate. The winner of a 50 inch HD TV was Krista Ellis-Smith of Stouffville, Ontario. Congratulations Krista and thanks to all of those that purchased tickets! Please remember, every raffle ticket purchased is accompanied by a free adult gate admission to any day of the Fair (expiry at close of Fair 2012).
If you belong to a non-profit, community group, we have a fantastic fundraising opportunity for you! Qualified groups may sign up to sell our Markham Fair Raffle tickets, and for every ticket sold, we will donate $5 to your group. This is a great opportunity for hockey teams, school groups, church groups, cultural groups, service clubs, and others, to raise funds. While you’re working for your own group, you’re also helping ensure our non-profit Fair continues to flourish! This is a win-win partnership for eligible community organizations and for the Fair.
Here’s how it works: We’ll be drawing for a brand new car, a Chevrolet Sonic LS 5 Door (sponsored by Markville Chevrolet), at the close of the Fair on September 30, 2012 (5:00 PM). Your group may qualify to sell tickets, valued at $25 each, between now and the Fair. Every ticket gives the purchaser a chance to win the car and also a free, adult gate admission to the Fair (a $15 value). For every ticket your group sells, we’ll donate $5 back to you! Hello, I am just wondering is this bracelets include the cost of admission, or if you have to pay both for the bracelet and admission?
Anthony, The ride all day bracelet will allow you to ride all the rides on the day of your choosing. You will still have to pay for admission to Markham Fair to go to the midway. Have fun!

& 40 coupons for $50.00. All rides take 2 or 3 coupons.

Hi, could you tell me if there is a separate charge for attending the events, ie demolition derby or the monster trucks, or is it included in the admissions?
Thanks for your comment Madiha. All the events presented by Markham Fair are included in the price of admission. Rides and games are extra and are paid to the vendor/partner such as Monster Truck Rides or Pony Rides.

& 40 coupons for $50.00. All rides take 2 or 3 coupons. We’re not certain if the Zipper will be here. There will definately be some exciting rides!
