Markham Fair Prize Books - It’s that simple to enter!

Look for a Section from the Prize Books. Pick the Section and best class that matches your entry. Fill out the appropriate Entry Form. Be sure to read the General Rules and Regulations. Bring the form into the Markham Fair Office on or before September 15, 2011, 8PM, with the appropriate entry fees.

All Rules And Regulations of the Markham Fair shall apply as well as the following:

Additional Rules:

  1. This Section will be judged on Thursday, September 29th at 1:00 p.m. and the lambs will be sold following the Shorthorn Show on Saturday, October 1st at approximately 2:30 p.m.
  2. All animals showing in this Section must be offered for sale.
  3. Arrangements will be made to have the lambs slaughtered and wrapped, according to instructions from the buyer.
  4. Only one (1) entry per exhibitor.
  5. All lambs must be sheared.
  6. A fee of $3.00 per entry must accompany your entry form to be received at the Markham Fair Office by September 15th, 2011.
  7. 3% of the selling price will be deducted to help defray the costs of the Lamb Sale.

Prize Money: 1st – $30.00; 2nd – $25.00; 3rd – $20.00; 4th – $18.00; 5th – $15.00; 6th – $12.00; 7th – $10.00; 8th – 8.00

Class:

  1. Ewe or Wether – Registered Grade or stated Cross-Breed. Full mouth of teeth.
