The Flow Show - North Shore Extreme MTB Show

A style of mountain bike riding originating from the "North Shore" of Vancouver Island. Very Canadian freestyle mountain biking. Athletes will follow an amazing array of aerial ladder bridges, ramps and teeter totters as they wow the crowds with their amazing balance and bike control.

North shore riding originated on the North Shore of Vancouver Island. Mountainbikers started creating elevated trails through the rugged terrain called "ladder bridges".  Then, like any breed of bicycle, somebody started taking these trails to the EXTREME.  Drop offs, teeter totters, skinnies, and kickers now make up a typical North Shore trail.

The Flowriders are a team of cyclists from BC that have taken the North Shore Trails out of the North Shore and presented them to the world.  These guys are going BIG!

Flowriders was originally founded in 1998 by Dangerous Dan as a mountain biking organization representing the North Shore style of riding. Now in 2008, with nine years of performing and showing the World at large the “North Shore” style of riding, Flowriders has made it’s mark with the most extravagant, exciting, extensive, extreme, and entertaining mountain bike show on the Planet… The Flow Show

The Flow Show can be seen at Markham Fair from October 2 to 5, 2008 in the 'Extreme Sports' zone.
