Before entering this section, please refer to the additional rules for Homecraft, as well as the following:
* Closing date for entry forms: Thursday, September 16th, 2010 by 8:00 p.m.* Will be strictly enforced.
Additional Rules:
- All items must be securely assembled for display
purposes with entry tag affixed.
- A charge of 25¢ per entry will apply plus a $5.00 exhibitor’s fee.
- Work must not be older than 2 years. Soiled or defective items will not be accepted or judged
- No article may be entered for more than one year.
- Exhibits must be brought to the Homecraft Building on Tuesday, Sept. 28th between 12 noon and 9:00 p.m., and may be reclaimed on October 3rd between 6:30 and 8:00 p.m. (the stub of the exhibitor’s entry is required).
- We are not responsible for damage done to any items due to humidity or dust in the buildings
- No marshmallow icing (or Fluff) to be used on edible items.
- Christmas themes only.
Prize Money Classes #1-51:
1st - $6.00; 2nd - $4.00; 3rd - $3.00; 4th - $2.00.
Adult - Classes #1-32:
- A Christmas ceramic item (maximum 14” high).
No artificial embellishments.
- A Christmas cone wreath using a cone for base and a bow. (Not to exceed 24” diameter.)
- Christmas wreath using grape vines or willow vines for base. (Not to exceed 24” diameter.)
- A Christmas wreath using materials other than cones or vines for base. (Not to exceed 24”diameter.)
- Your choice of a Christmas door/wall decoration other than a wreath, i.e. cross-stitch, needlepoint, embroidery, etc. (maximum 24” x 36”).
- Your choice of unframed Christmas hanging door/wall decoration other than a wreath, i.e. cross-stitch, needlepoint, embroidery, etc. (Not to exceed 24” x 36”.) Must be fabric base.
- Your choice of a Christmas hanging door/wall decoration other than a wreath and not fabric base
(maximum 24” x 36”).
- An Advent calendar. (Not to exceed 24” x 36”.)
- Three Christmas tree ornaments (needlepoint, cross-stitch, embroidered, knitted, crochet). May be different from each other.
- Three Christmas tree ornaments, any method not
mentioned above.
- A tole painted item using Christmas theme.
- A Christmas stocking using counted cross-stitch-suitable for filling.
- A Christmas stocking - suitable for filling - any medium except cross-stitch.
- A handmade animal dressed for Christmas.
(Not to exceed 18”.)
- A creatively decorated wrapped Christmas gift box.
(Not to exceed 12”.)
- A Christmas tree topper, any medium. New!
- A Christmas quilted table runner.
- A Christmas table runner other than quilted.
- A Christmas table place mat and matching napkin - one sample of each.
- A Christmas tree skirt.
- A Christmas theme decorated shirt or vest (sweatshirt, T-shirt, dress shirt, etc.).
- A Christmas theme plastic canvas item.

- A totally edible Christmas creation, other than a building (gingerbread, shortbread, sugar cookies, chocolate, etc.). (Display area not to exceed 18” square - creation and decorations to be edible.)
- Handmade Christmas greeting card - No computer work or graphics (Not to exceed 6” x 9”)

- A handmade Christmas pillow. (Form not to exceed 14”.)
- Hand decorated Christmas (paper) gift bag.
