Whitchurch-Stouffville Mayor's Message - 2009

On behalf of Members of Council and the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville, it is my pleasure and privilege to extend a warm and sincere welcome to all those attending the 2009 Markham Fair.

Markham Fair showcases our heritage at its best, and over the years this unique event has continued to attract an increasing number of visitors who welcome the opportunity to enjoy not only the rural atmosphere, but the wide variety of home craft exhibits, livestock shows, horseracing etc. with the amusement park being a major attraction for the younger members of your family.

My thanks to the organizers and to all who volunteer each year to ensure a successful event – your commitment and contributions to the Fair’s success is outstanding.
