After Thursday’s competition, the judges made their decision and the lead Ambassador Teghan Warr and Team consisting of Victoria Krol-Tota were chosen for the 2016 Markham Fair.

They performed their duties admirably during the fair handing out event programs at the gates, visiting with school children (posing for photos), handing out ribbons at various competitions including beef and dairy shows, the children’s pet show, the teen talent competition and the baby contest.

The ambassador team will also represent the Markham Fair at community events throughout the year.  Look for them at the next Markham and Stouffville Santa Clause parades.

Teghan will also participate in regional and provincial Ambassador meetings, starting with our District meeting in October in Sutton.  She will also represent Markham Fair at the CNE in August 2017.

Congratulations to the Ambassador Team!  We are very proud of you!

The Ambassador program is an excellent opportunity for participants to develop public speaking skills through community interaction. Many past winners credit the program for advancement in their careers. Click here to read more about the Ambassador program and see the list of sponsors.
