Homecrafts Section 1: Antiques at the Markham Fair

Do you have a passion for collecting and proudly displaying antiques? Well, Section 1 in the Homecraft Sections of the Markham Fair is just for you! Come see your collectibles showcased at the Markham Fair from October 3 to 6, 2019.

Entry forms are being accepted until Thursday, September 19th, 2019 by 8:00 p.m. Before entering Section 1 (Antiques), please refer to the General Rules & Regulations and Additional Rules for Homecraft. Exhibits must be brought to the Homecraft Building on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 between noon and 9PMand can be reclaimed on Sunday October 6th 2019 between 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.

There are two sets of classes for the antiques section of the Markham Fair. Classes 1-31 must be articles that are 80 years or older, whereas classes 32-39 must be collectibles from 1938-1968.

Prizes include money from the Markham Fair as well as generous donations from Clarkson Auctions, the Betty Davenport Memorial, and the Reesor’s Family in Canada, for certain classes.

Markham Fair Prize Books – It’s that simple to Enter!

Look for a Section from the Prize Books. Pick the Section and best class that matches your entry. Fill out the appropriate Entry Form. Be sure to read the General Rules and Regulations. Bring the form into the Markham Fair Office on or before September 13, 2018, 8PM, with the appropriate entry

Rental Facilities

Markham Fair Grounds, located in York Region, can accommodate a variety of functions and gatherings. We are the host location for large trade and consumer shows as well as corporate celebrations, concerts, banquets and other special events.
