In Ontario, they have partnered with the Children’s Aid Society of Toronto, to whom they have generously donated 1000 tickets this year! Additionally, The Royal Canadian Family Circus has donated over 20,000 tickets to Kids Up Front over the last 4 years! Importantly, their show Spectac! does not feature exotic or endangered animals, and has provided audiences with a family friendly show for many years.

You won’t want to miss Spectac!, so come out and see the show on July 12, 13, 14, and 15 at the Markham Fairgrounds!

Addition to this post on July 16, 2018

On July 12, 13, 14, and 15, Markham Fairgrounds had the pleasure of hosting the Royal Canadian Family Circus and their show Spectac!, featuring talents from across the world.

Attending the Royal Canadian Family Circus reminded us of our numerous childhood visits to the circus. Walking in, you could smell the nostalgic whiffs of popcorn and buttery pretzels, displayed beside by glistening snow cones and intriguing souvenirs. The tent was packed with visitors, all starstruck by the flashy display of lights and dazzling circus acts. It was delightful to have been immersed in the atmosphere of a traditional big top tent while surrounded by families and friends who were all excited to be there.

World-record holder Tommy Tequila, a renowned juggler from Mexico City, Mexico, demonstrated his juggling prowess with multiple acts, including juggling ping pong balls with his mouth! He also thrilled the audience with other items such as hats and balls.

The Bilea Transformation Act from Romania also earned gasps from the audience as they inexplicably and very rapidly changed from one sparkling outfit to another on stage, leaving us all stunned and speechless.

The ringmaster himself, Joseph Dominic Bauer, performed a daring act on the Death-Defying Wheel of Destiny, skipping rope, juggling fire, and even walked blindfolded as the wheel spun him rapidly through the air.

There were also many more dazzling acts, including but certainly not limited to The Chinese Acrobats all the way from China and the Guerrero 4 Man High Wire, which had previously been featured on America’s Got Talent.
