Markham Fair 2024: Celebrating 180 Years of Tradition and Fun!

The countdown is on! The Markham Fair will be in full swing, bringing excitement, entertainment, and family fun to our community. This year is extra special as we celebrate the 180th Anniversary of the Markham Fair with the theme “Back in Time.” Join us from October 3rd to October 6th as we take a nostalgic journey through the decades, reflecting on the rich history and cherished traditions that have made our fair a beloved event for generations.

Markham Fair hosts a Children’s Pet Show, Ambassador Contest, So You Think You Can Cook, Teen Talent, Truck & Tractor Pull, Baby Contest, Chip Off the Old Block, Heavy Horse Pull, Demolition Derby, and a Spelling Bee. Of course, there are many more ways to exhibit with 4-H and other various agricultural clubs. Come one, come all and have a marvelous time at the 179th Markham Fair as a competitor.

Volunteering at the 178th Markham Fair allows you the chance to learn some new skills, connect with interesting and amazing people, apply the talents and skills you have in the field and feel the excitement that always comes from making an influential change in other people’s lives, as well as in your own life.
